Title: IT Manager

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 + benefits (inc Pension)
We are recruiting an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Manager to join a successful and growing electrical appliance distributor.
This is an integral role and will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work on a broad variety of important infrastructure projects for the company.
Reporting directly to the board of Directors, you will be responsible for taking the lead on the acquisition, installation and general project management of new software systems.
You will have a couple of direct reports as well as being responsible for overseeing a small BI (Business Intelligence) team.
Projects you will be involved in early on include, bringing all the company’s systems into one solution, project managing an ERP implementation as well as a separate project for helping the company achieve an ISO accreditation.
Other duties will include, review of existing infrastructure, keeping it in line with up to date and cost effective systems and solutions as well as day to day management of the IT team and infrastructure.
You will be an experienced IT Manager with experience of managing a small IT/Infrastructure team.
You will hopefully have experience of project managing a large software installation and it will be considered extremely advantageous if you have managed an ERP implementation previously.
Although not essential, it will also be considered beneficial if you have had prior experience of attaining quality accreditations such as ISO.
You will be managing a small team and will report to the board directly, an ability to communicate at all levels and get on with your colleagues is essential. You will be adaptable, able to work on varied IT projects with some development skills or the tools to help find and create bespoke solutions for modern day business issues.
Located in Wigan, you will be within an easy commute of the company’s Head Office in Wigan, easily accessible from Skelmersdale, Bolton, St Helens, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Leigh, Westhoughton and Horwich.
