I am pleased to be recruiting an IT Procurement & Contract Administrator role for my client, a progressive and growing technology company within a very niche sector. Working for the IT Operations team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT contracts, software licensing and asset management, ensuring that value for money is maximised and cost savings are made whilst delivering excellent IT services to the business.

The Role

Based in their Leeds office close to Leeds main train station, you will report directly to the Service Desk Manager. You will assist in obtaining quotations for IT products and services and present costs for IT projects in a clear and concise way. You will assist the Service Desk Manager in the preparation of budgets, ensuring IT procurement is delivered cost effectively. You will lead the procurement of IT goods and services and develop sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings to the business. You will negotiate with existing suppliers to ensure the best value for money is maintained. You will build strong working relationships both internally and with key suppliers. You will also be responsible for the disposal of existing IT assets.

The Person

You will already be working in a similar role with appropriate procurement experience. You will be professional, an excellent communicator (written & verbal) and good negotiation and influencing skills. You will be analytical and a strategic thinker as well as having a good understanding/awareness of IT. This is a busy role for a rapidly growing company so it is important that you possess good time management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload appropriately. Although not essential, it will be considered advantageous of you have obtained a CIPS diploma.


Located in Leeds City Centre, the role is easily commutable from local areas including, Beeston, Rothwell, Bramley, Harehills, Bradford, Morley, Pudsey, Bramley and Headingly.

You will already be working as an IT Contract Administrator, IT Procurement Administrator or Procurement Administrator.
