Position: IT Project Manager, Infrastructure, WiFi

Duration: Fixed Term 12-24 Months

Location: London

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

Benefits: Final Salary Pension, Bonus 10%

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to work closely with the Head of IT and Solutions Architect on a number of large projects including WiFi, CCTV and Digital Media Portals as part of a large rail refresh programme.

You will be accountable for the delivery of a portfolio of IT projects across Capital Programmes and IT Roadmap. The role will be required to deliver IT work streams (functional and Service) within large multi-agency change programmes, experience delivering technical solutions is essential.

The successful candidate will engage initially on the train WiFi project, requiring a proactive individual who can lead a multi-agency technical project.

The Role

You will responsible for full lifecycle of project delivery from brief and requirements through contract, build to integration and support of operational readiness testing.

You will also be for management of provision of systems delivery through commercial contracts with significant 3rd parties.

The key project you will manage will be the build and rollout of WiFi for trains and stations as well as CCTV.

Other projects will give you the opportunity to gain experience in areas such as Mobile Applications as well as Digital Portals.

The role is a fixed term contract due to last between 12 and 24 months based out of central London.

Key Experience Required

  • You will be an experienced IT Project Manager that has previously deployed multi-vendor complex WiFi solutions into public user spaces.
  • You will have experience of managing multi-agency suppliers
  • You will have experience in delivering complex change into an end user environment, ideally within a rail or retail environment.
  • You will have strong experience of project managing IT Infrastructure change
  • You will be Prince 2 qualified
