IT Support Engineer
Based in Harrow
Salary: £21,000 – £23,000

A well-established full-service IT support company is currently looking to recruit a Support Engineer in Harrow. Offering an attractive salary, this is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled IT professional to play a key role as part of a small and friendly team with a loyal and growing client base.

The Role
You would be responsible for providing a high standard of 1st / 2nd line support to clients, taking ownership and troubleshooting issues in the areas of software functionality, system configuration/setup, and bugs/enhancements etc, ensuring all queries are consistently resolved in a timely and professional manner. You will also provide hardware support, replacing a hard drive or graphics card, installing a new PC etc.

You will primarily work remotely and autonomously from a large client’s site in Harrow, as well as deliver regular on-site services for other clients in the region. A full and clean driving license plus use of own car will be required.

The Candidate
The role will suit a motivated and self-sufficient IT support technician with a good knowledge of a wide range of systems, applications and interfaces, plus a willingness to learn new technologies. Proficiency with the following technologies is essential…
o MS Office desktop applications, Office365, and Microsoft Server 2008 – 2012
o Windows 7-10 OS support
o Backup technologies, Azure, Intune
o Iphone / android email account setup
o Printer and telecommunications technologies and systems

You will have an enthusiastic personality with a flexible attitude and must be able to demonstrate a real passion for IT. You will be a well organised and flexible individual with strong communication skills and excellent problem solving and analytical ability.
