Job Title: Junior Finance ERP Implementation Consultant
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000
Benefits: Car Allowance £4,620, Fuel Card, Bonus 10%, Pension, Healthcare
This is a rare opportunity to break into Software consulting for an experienced and qualified finance professional who has experience of implementing ERP based Finance packages/modules within the manufacturing sector.
The role is with a Global ERP Software House based in Birmingham in a role that offers excellent training and opportunities for development and travel.
The role will involve travel to customer sites based both in the UK and in Europe enabling them to successfully implement their ERP software focusing on their finance and accounting modules.
You will be a process expert within finance/accounting and will work alongside other consultants with specialist knowledge in other areas such as manufacturing and supply chain.
Day to day tasks could include installation, configuration, training, business process design and project documentation. Two weeks of each year will concentrate on your training.
You will have extensive client contact at all levels up to Finance Director in a variety of industry sectors.
Key experience required:
The role would suit someone that is currently or has previously worked for a medium to large manufacturing company in a finance role and has managed or worked as part of the implementation of ERP based finance modules for that business.
You will have a good understanding of financial process improvement and implementation experience within any ERP based Finance modules such as Movex M3, Navision, Infor, Syspro, EFACS, Epicor, SAP, Oracle, Baan, BPCS, Netsuite or MS Dynamics.
Any ERP/accounting software will be considered as extensive training will be provided on their ERP software.
We would expect you to have a recognised accountancy qualification such as CIMA, ACCA
This is an excellent opportunity with a growing global organisation where the average length of employment is 10 years plus.
It is likely that you will come from one of the following backgrounds: Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Accountant Systems Accountant or Project Manager.
Although the company are based in Birmingham and you will be expected to be in the office some of the time we are reasonably flexible on where you are living as time can be spent on client sites and working from home.
