Role: Lead Developer
Location: Birmingham / Flexible – Remote
Salary: £70,000 to £80,000

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading workforce management solutions provider, enabling large-scale business change through their service/product offerings. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, motivated Lead Developer/Technical Lead who has led software development and technically guided a development team, with experience in Full-Stack Development, ideally in Angular and Java.
The position is a flexible hybrid working model, working a few days a week in the office on average at their central Birmingham office. Supported and mentored by the Development Manager, you will be overseeing the creation and maintenance of bespoke software developments and integrations, designing, building, and configuring. In conjunction with building high-quality Mobile and Web applications, you will contribute your experience and expertise to direct the development team with efficient code and troubleshooting, doing daily stand-ups, planning and architecture meetings to provide technical options for a given solution.
We are looking for a Lead Developer/Technical Lead with experience with Full Stack technologies, particularly Angular and Java. Other key aspects of a successful applicant for this role include:
- Experience with SQL, REST, and SOAP
- Understanding of SOLID/Object-Oriented design principles.
- A background in completing thorough technical documentation.
- Aspiration to develop into branching and software architecture
