Learning & Development Manager
Based in Newcastle
Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 + Excellent Benefits
One of the UK’s leading food-on-the-go retail firms is currently looking to recruit an experienced L&D Manager on a maternity cover contract (6-9 months) at their Newcastle Office. You would be tasked with supporting the Head of Learning in delivering the L&D and management development agenda, carrying out full training needs analysis before designing and delivering innovative leadership and management development initiatives across the business.
You will also be tasked with managing and leading the graduate scheme, supporting the graduates through each placement with regular reviews of performance and development.
You will be expected to act as a role model, mentor and ambassador to employees, delivering training which is motivational and inspiring and provides the required messages in order to drive operational and developmental results and meet the succession needs of the business.
The ideal candidate for the role must be able to show evidence of successful training identification, ideally in an FMCG or Commercial environment, plus demonstrable experience of designing and delivering creative, imaginative and value-added learning solutions in management development and change management. You will be an ambassador for training and development with the ability to promote new approaches to learning and development and bring people on board. CIPD/CTP qualification will be required.
You will combine excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels. You will be a flexible and proactive individual with strong project management and delivery skills, plus the ability to perform consistently at a high level and under pressure.
