Production Technician – As part of the Production team, your role would entail assisting in the manufacture of components and products. Initially you will be trained in operator checks, labelling and product assembly, all to the relevant quality standards. You will help maintain appropriate stock levels, complete manufacturing batch records, and ensure that production runs are completed to agreed timelines. Career progression to scientific production roles are based on competence and performance.
Laboratory Technician – You will provide a sample testing service which aids UK laboratories and clinics in the diagnosis of active and latent TB infection. This requires strict adherence to the quality management system and you would be expected to ensure that all samples are processed and reported accurately within specified timeframes, liaising continuously with clients to ensure their needs are being met.
Operations Technician – You will support the supply chain planner in ensuring that raw materials are ordered and processed for manufacturing as well as maintaining appropriate stock levels. You will also be trained to provide support to the Production Technicians and trained in product assembly and shipping to customers.
This is a great opportunity for proactive and responsible school leavers or science graduates to develop their understanding of the diagnostic and pharmaceutical industries. You will be A Level qualified, ideally in science subject or be a recent graduate. You will have either an understanding of the healthcare industry or previous experience of working in a GMP laboratory.
