I am working with an expanding housing association that is looking for an experienced Scheme Manager for their Extra Care service. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that can offer a long term career with future opportunities.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that residents receive an excellent service within an extra care setting enabling them to live as independently as possible. You will have full day to day management responsibility of the staff team including staff recruitment, induction, training and performance management.

The person:
You will be an experienced Social Care Manager with knowledge of the elderly care sector. You will have strong leadership skills and have a stable work history and you will have experience of managing staff, supervisions and appraisals. You will have sound knowledge of budgets and finances along with good IT skills. Ideally you will hold a relevant social care qualification or be willing to work towards.
