Managing Consultant – Healthcare

As one of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies we are currently looking to recruit a senior level Managing Consultant, with significant experience working as a strategic transformation lead within healthcare organisations.

This is a growth area and a fantastic opportunity for an individual who can demonstrate real impact and authority in helping deliver change within the NHS. The company advise hundreds of organisations, public and private, across the UK, providing strategic consultative solutions for improved performance and business turnaround. As an enthusiastic lean service improvement and process redesign practitioner, you would be expected to lead and manage complex assignments, undertaking tasks including project management, process design, identifying process waste and inefficiencies, workshop facilitation, process mapping and controls design, at all levels and for various internal processes and systems.

The ideal candidate for the role must be able to demonstrate significant experience in healthcare consultancy roles with a proven track record of successfully utlising lean and change management techniques, and delivering demonstrable change and improvements for NHS and Trust clients. Specific expertise in relation to the following will be required; theatre transformation, patient flow pathways, reducing acute length of stay, medical workforce, consultant contracting and job planning, locum supply chains, pharmacy and medication processes, and patient flow.

You will have experience building and managing effective relationships at all levels, and will be able to demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. You will be a flexible and proactive individual with strong project management skills, plus the ability perform consistently at a high level and under pressure.

Regular travel across the UK will form part of your remit, so a full UK driving licence and car will be required.
