One of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies is currently looking to recruit a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to cover the Yorkshire and North East region. Reporting to the Regional Business Development Manager and supporting the Regional Business Development Team, you would be responsible for the effective coordination and implementation of business development and marketing activity.
Typical activities will include supporting the roll-out of client care, lead tracking, targeting, and account management programmes, managing the contact database, assisting in the management of local events and seminars, providing pitch/proposal support, plus project managing local marketing campaigns as required. Regular travel around the region as well as occasional out of hours work will be required so a degree of flexibility is essential in the ideal candidate.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an intelligent and enthusiastic individual with B2B marketing experience to develop their skills within a dynamic market leading business. Support will be provided for individuals looking to begin studying for CIM qualification.
The ideal candidate for the role will be an ambitious Marketing professional looking for an opportunity to put their knowledge and skills to use within a fast-paced corporate environment. A good understanding of the full marketing mix, plus event and database management experience, would be an advantage, as will strong social media and IT skills.
You will have excellent organisational skills as well as plenty of initiative, plus exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. You will need strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work equally effectively alone and as part of a team. You will be committed to delivering first-rate levels of service at all times, and have the desire to forge a successful career in marketing.
