In the role you will be tasked with designing and delivering capital equipment installations (upgrades and new build) with a range of food and pharma manufacturing plants.
This is a field-based role covering the South West region, where you’ll report to the Director and will be responsible for managing each project – and you will have a few on the go at any one time – from cradle to grave including the client facing elements of this type of role such as the quotation process.
What experience do I need?
My client is looking for someone who’s got experience of designing engineering solutions and presenting them to the customer.
You’ll also need experience of specifying and procuring against that solution and installing and commissioning each project via in-house teams and external subcontractors.
In addition, it’s essential that you possess an engineering qualification in a related discipline – ideally a degree, HNC or HND but consideration will be shown to all.
You will need to be able to work with multiple, diverse stakeholders and be able to manage multiple projects and delver each one against agreed budget & time constraints.

What can I earn?
This Mechanical Engineer position offers an attractive basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum for the perfect candidate, alongside other additional benefits which include a £6k car allowance and other benefits commensurate with a role of this nature.
