The Candidate
– Proven experience selling own label FMCG into the top 4 grocery retail chains
– Category management experience, within own label is essential
– Demonstrable understanding of other business functions; Finance, Supply Chain, NPD, Manufacturing
– Strong negotiation and influencing skills, able to build highly effective internal and external relationships
– Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to rapidly changing situations

The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, you would be tasked with managing relationships with the major retailers, selling a range of personal care products, developing and implementing tailored strategies for each account. You will be expected to actively engage with customers, conducting regular reviews and analysis and identifying areas for sales potential, working with both colleagues and customer representatives in Product Development and Marketing to ensure NPD, range reviews and promotional activities are executed in line with business, financial and personal objectives.

The Company
You would be joining a high-volume full-service customer brand manufacturer of personal care products, with development and production expertise from concept to consumer. The UK manufacturing facility is based in the Preston and has worldwide distribution channels.
