Can you demonstrate that you can manage multi-channel relationships with conflicting demands and requirements – both internally and externally?
If so then you could be perfect for my client. They’re looking to recruit a brilliant National Account Manager for their business.
In the role you will be primarily responsible for managing both the ‘discounter’ channel as well as the ‘seasonal hamper’ business too.
You’ll also be responsible for devising and delivering strong and robust account plans / trading strategies and delivering against sales, profit and distribution targets for each and targeting new business wins.
You will be based in the company’s Wembley office and will report directly to the Sales Director.
To be considered for the National Account Manager role you will need to possess direct experience of selling to the ‘discounter’ channel.
You’ll also need experience of working with the ‘seasonal hamper’ retailers too and have worked in the ‘own label / private label’ sector.
It’s also really important that you possess highly effective numerical skills and demonstrate you have a strong grip on the P&L for your account portfolio. First class analytical skills would be useful too.
You will need to be able to build and develop cross functional relationships – it’s a ‘hearts and minds’ business, be creative, enthusiastic and resilient and be able to demonstrate your effective use of these skills in your career to date.

The basic salary for the National Account Manager position is up to £55,000 per annum for the perfect candidate.
In addition, you can earn a personal performance bonus of up to £10,000 per annum should you hit your personal targets.
You’ll also receive other additional benefits which include the following: Car allowance (circa £5k), company pension and healthcare.
