Interim Nurse Qualified Deputy Service Manager (12 months)

We are currently recruiting for a nurse qualified deputy service manager for a registered charity that operates across England and Wales.
The position:
The role is based in a service which provides 24 hour nursing care and support for 18 people with physical and learning disabilities. The role of the Deputy Service Manager is to lead a team of Registered Nurses and Support Staff to enable each person using the service to lead a fulfilling and independent life according to individual needs and choices. A strong role model you will support the Service Manager with the day to day operation of the service.
Essential Criteria :
• A person centred approach and an understanding of the needs of vulnerable people
• Line management experience in a care environment including financial/budgeting skills
• RMN/RGN and current NMC Registration
• Experience of the Care Standards Act
The person:
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with experience of physical or learning disabilities. You will have some management or supervisory experience and it is essential that you are able to work with minimum supervision and you must be able to provide evidence an on-going commitment to continuous professional development.
