Operations Manager (Security Systems)
Location – Leeds
Salary – £35,000 – £40,000
An established Security Systems Distributor seeks an experienced Operations Manager to help oversee and run 3 critical operations of the business which are stores, assembly and sales admin. If you are looking to take the next step in your career and join a progressive company in the New Year this could be the job for you.
- Keep a close eye on the stores and associated sales admin team who are in charge of all goods inwards, returns, order fulfilment and managing a large warehouse with circa two thousand stock lines with a value of £2m.
- Overseeing the assembly function and maintaining the required stock levels of completed goods for sale.
- Managing an operations team of 13 people.
Experience of a fast moving distribution business is desired.
- Previous working as one of the following; General Manager, Distribution Manager, Operations Manager, Technical Manager or Head of Operations.
- Ideally experience within Electrical/Electronic or allied product.
- The ability to learn the processes currently in place and crucially understand the reasons each control is important.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication and commitment to work with huge drive, credibility and enthusiasm.
- An ability to deal with people at all levels.
£35,000- £40,000 + Car + Bonus + Pension
They are looking for an individual who will be able to take a step up to director level once proven in the capacity.
