Operations Manager
Based in Stockbridge, Hampshire
Salary circa £30,000

Due to recent and ongoing success, an innovative online retailer specialising in products for the hearing impaired are currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager at their site near Stockbridge in Hampshire. Offering an attractive basic salary plus a delightful setting in a historic barn conversion, this is a great chance to play an important role as part of the company’s ambitious growth plans.

The Role
Reporting to and working closely alongside the company’s Directors, you would play a key role helping manage the business, ensuring it runs efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities will include managing the Customer Service team, providing the best possible training, leadership, mentoring and coaching to help the business perform at optimal capacity and exceed customer and company objectives. You would also be tasked with overseeing all aspects of the distribution centre, monitoring stock control management, and ensuring all deliveries are out on time and customer enquiries are handled quickly and effectively.

The Candidate
This is a hands-on role and will suit a confident, influential and flexible leader with excellent commercial acumen. Experience overseeing operations within a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment would be an advantage however candidates from a wide variety of industries will be considered. Excellent organisational skills and multi-tasking ability will be essential however.

Strong communication skills and the ability to listen and engage with people are required as is a positive attitude, confidence, and desire to make the most of this excellent opportunity to help shape a business around delivering a first class customer experience.
