My client is recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator.
As a Payroll Administrator joining a busy team you will be responsible for processing a high volume weekly payroll for client care staff
The successful candidate must have minimum of one year knowledge and experience of payroll ideally within the care sector.
The role will be based in Telford.
Production of monthly payroll reports
Process HMRC documents/reports including P60, P45, P46, P14/P35 etc.
Deal with HMRC, DWP and employee related queries
Issue payslips and submission of RTI
Managing holiday entitlement and processing holiday pay
Manage Auto enrolment pension administration
Reconciliation of receipts, invoices and related queries
Processing new starters and leavers paperwork
Key Skills Required:
Minimum 12 months experience of working within payroll administration.
Clear and concise communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient use of IT including Microsoft word, Excel (pivot tables) and Outlook.
Good organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Effective team player but also able to work on own initiative.
Sound working knowledge of current PAYE and statutory payment legislations.
A respect for confidentiality.
CIPP certificate or equivalent.
Ability to manually calculate gross to net payments.
Previous experience of processing an agency payroll.
Previous experience of using People Planner and/or Tempaid (payroll software).
