As one of the UK’s leading accountancy firms we are currently recruiting for an intelligent and well organised Payroll Executive at our Bury St Edmunds office. As part of the Employer Services team, you would support the delivery of a professional and reliable payroll service to various clients, ensuring all receive an efficient, accurate and timely service at all times.
You will be expected to liaise and work closely with a portfolio of clients, processing payrolls in accordance with statutory and legislative regulations and to deadline, plus preparing reports and assisting with query resolution.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join one of the UK’s leading firms. You must have payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy firm or payroll bureau. An understanding of UK tax legislation plus knowledge of month end and year end accounting will be required, while a willingness to undertake IPP payroll qualification would also be looked on favourably.
You will be well organised, able to prioritise a varied workload and used to working to deadlines. You must be computer literate, with good knowledge of Excel. You will be an enthusiastic and well organised individual with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
