Production Manager – Architectural Stone Products
basic up to £35,000 + attractive benefits
This leading, award winning manufacture of interior and exterior natural stone products requires a Production Manager for their facility in London.
Reporting to the MD your role encompasses both responsibility for the entire production facility and the site installation team too and ultimately you will be responsible for ensuring safety, profitability, quality and performance targets are met.
Specifically you will:
• Plan, organise and measure labour and material requirements to ensure factory output is maintained against the production plan.
• Manage material stock, yard and the van fleet.
• Lead and drive standards of quality with daily quality inspections.
• Work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure projects and materials are delivered on time and to the correct quality standard to site.
Naturally this will involve the management of a team of people and all that that entails.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Factory Manager or similar, who can read and interpret technical and production drawings for manufacture. Additionally you will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of production operation processes and engineering of bespoke items.
You will have a working knowledge and understanding of various types of stone ideally including the workability of each.

The role may be suitable if you have a background as a Factory Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or Director.
It is likely candidates will be commutable to :Croydon, Enfield, Battersea, Slough, Dartford, London
