Programme Manager for Change team required by my market leading client in Bolton. The Programme Manager will be responsible for the planning, monitoring & control of a number of concurrent projects to ensure that company specific goals & priorities are met.
At any time there are 15 or so in-flight projects with a similar number waiting to be scheduled. Projects typically vary in value from £200k to £1000000+ and can either be customer, BAU or legislation/Governance Led.

The role:
Managing a Change Management Team of 12. These consist of BAs; Project Managers; a testing team and MI Analysts.

looking for an open minded, flexible and experienced Programme Manager ideally from a Legal, Insurance or BPO background. Some one with solid influencing skills, quality man management and gravitas.

by necessity this is a structued and well defined enviroment, however the teams need to be flexible with-in parameters and able to handle shifting priorities.

Experience in mentoring and assessing individuals in terms of attitudes; behaviours and delivery ability
Ability to direct the collective effort, skills, and collaboration of the team and of end users to deliver successful projects
A natural at communicating, influencing and proactively collaborating with people from across the wider business area.
Comfortable with managing stakeholders’ expectations in a persuasive yet objective manner
Skilled at conflict resolution to deliver a win-win result Planning and Delivery
Experiencing in managing and balancing the finite availability of time, money, and resources to achieve on time delivery against current business plans.
Experience of resource planning and scheduling at a tactical and operational level to meet future project requirements.
Proven experience in addressing priorities in circumstances of continued, complex and conflicting requirements
A detailed and structured planner with the ability to identifying potential constraints, impacts and risks of proposed projects Technical A good understanding of Business Process Improvement and Reengineering principles
A working knowledge of Systems Development Methodologies,
Experience in applying varying yet appropriate levels of PRINCE to project delivery Commercial and Business Awareness
A track record in identifying commercial opportunities that can be exploited through the application of technology. Governance
Working knowledge or experience of how Information Governance, Information Security, Data Protection and Information Commissioner guidance and principles are impacted by current and proposed projects.
A track record in repeatable project success and continuous improvement through the application of and adherence to best practice across the change management team and Programme Board.
