Due to ongoing success and planned expansion, an award winning architectural company is currently looking to recruit talented Architects for their practice in the village of Baltonsborough, just outside Glastonbury. From the start you would be involved with a range of interesting and challenging projects, bespoke residential schemes through to exciting larger commercial projects. The company are customer focused and specialise in delivering particularly complex projects ahead of time and under budget and have a very strong track record. You would play a key role in running projects from concept to completion, supervising a small team in the delivery of high quality work and exceeding client expectations. Opportunities also exist for Architectural Technicians, responsible for producing drawings and technical information from concept phase through to completion.
The practice is based in rural Somerset, just outside the delightful market town of Glastonbury. Applications will be considered from candidates across the region, as well individuals perhaps looking for an opportunity to escape city life and relocate to the country.
A fully qualified and highly creative Architect, having completed Part III in the UK, with a thorough understanding of UK building regulations and legislation plus experience leading and running commercial and residential projects. You must be able to demonstrate a passion for design coupled with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction, comfortable liaising with clients as well as running small teams.
You will be a versatile and results driven individual with a positive and enthusiastic attitude plus excellent organisational skills and multi-tasking ability. Strong IT skills and working knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop will be required.
