We’re looking for a talented Project Engineer to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with a background in engineering maintenance who has an enquiring mind and looks for ways to improve things.

As the Project Engineer you’ll report to the Manufacturing Manager and will be primarily expected to look into areas to improve the manufacturing process – including by better use of automation and control systems, process improvement and capital improvement.
This will include the following core tasks:
– Assessment of the current processes and identifying the ‘bottle necks’
– Proposing cost effective solutions – including making a business case if capital improvement is required
– Actioning the change – either in a hands in terms of mechanical, electrical or software changes or from a project management perspective if subcontract work is required
The ideal person for this Project Engineer role will have a relevant background in engineering maintenance in a factory / production setting.
You’ll also need experience of seeking improvement to process, function & kit – with demonstrable evidence where you have done this.
Plus, it’s vital that you’ve got experience of working with PLCs / drives.
