Project Manager –Facades
C.£45k plus car/car allowance, Pension
I have a requirement for an experienced Project Manager to manage up to 20 multiple façades and solar shading/glazed canopy installation projects at any time. These will range in value from £10k to £900k.
My client is a subcontract manufacture of building envelopes, curtain walling and building cladding with a reputation for providing the highest quality product matched only by the level of service they deliver.
The role requires you to base yourself in the Stockport area but the projects are Nationwide so you can expect to spend 3 days in the office in Stockport and 2 days on Site.
In terms of the role it has aspects that require you to be very ’hands on’ from the sales handover to completion of the projects.
There is also a strategic element to the role covering issues such as manpower planning involving subcontracted fitters, complete project management and progress reviews with the main contractor.
You will follow the program set by the client and make financial and cost allocation decisions throughout the project.
This role may be suitable for you if you have a background in any of the following: Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Site Manager, Multi Site Manager, Regional Manager, Commercial Manager, Works Manager, Installation Manager, Operations Manager, Senior Projects Manager or Commercial Operations Manager
You will have worked in a similar Project Management type role in the construction industry and have an SMSTS,CSCS qualification and clean driving license.
