As a result of recent expansion, an established interiors company seeks to recruit a Project Manager to manage a fit-out project in Birmingham.

The Role
Your role as a Project Manager sees you tasked with looking after a project which will potentially include the management of a Site Manager and construction trades people on the site.

The project is a £1.4 million partitions, ceilings and flooring refurbishment of a school on behalf of a principal contractor in Birmingham.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for making sure the project is successful from start to completion. You will be involved with following the build programme, as well as health and safety. You will be responsible to ensure the project is managed correctly and completed within budget and on time.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have experience in a refurbishment Project Management or Site Manager role or similar management role managing projects up to £1.4 million or similar – ideally from within the interiors construction sector, although consideration will be given to those from other areas of the refurbishment and construction market.

Established for over 40 years with a combined group turn-over of £50 million , they are an established interiors main contractor who also can work as a subcontractor when required. They operate nationally, offering full fast-track refurbishment fit-out projects on behalf of various clients in the commercial sector.
