As a result of recent expansion, an established shop fitting organisation seeks to recruit a Project Manager to manage projects across the South Midlands and Southern England.
Your role as a Project Manager sees you tasked with looking after approximately 12 shop fit-out projects a year at various stages. You will have responsibility for ensuring each project is completed on time and within budget.
You will manage from initial costing and surveying, through to the design and completion of each job. This will involve measuring costs and organising subcontract orders, as well as checking measurements are correct from the initial surveys.
You will attend refit meetings and follow a programme of works, whilst co-ordinating a workload under the supervision of the Commercial Manager and alongside the Development Manager and Installation Contracts Manager.
The projects will be design and shop fitting of existing stores and will require travel to sites across the UK.
The successful candidate will have experience in a Project Management role – from within the fit-out or shop-fitting sector, although consideration will be given to those from a CAD Design or Architectural Design shop-fitting background looking to make the step up to Project Manager.
You must have experience with site surveying and CAD design in order to understand the measurements and drawings for each project when amendments need to be made.
It is vital that you have retail project experience and a driving licence as there will be travel to sites.
