Project Manager –Social Housing
New Build Timber Frame

c. £35k-£45k plus car

As a result of recent expansion, an established social housing contractor seeks to recruit a Project Manager to manage projects across London.

The Role
Your role as a Project Manager sees you tasked with looking after approximately 6 sites at various stages. You will have responsibility for ensuring each project is completed on time and within budget.

You will manage from initial costing and surveying, through to the design and completion of each job. This will involve measuring costs and organising subcontract orders. You will attend meetings and follow a programme of works, whilst co-ordinating a workload.

The projects will be new build timber framed bugalows and homes with 3 units on each site across multiple sites. They are retirement homes for the elderly for the social housing market.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have experience in a Project Management role – from within the social housing or partnership housing contracting sector, although consideration will be given to those from a similar role in the construction sector.
You must have experience with new build housing ideally timber frame but not essential.
The role involves managing the projects hands on from start to completion including subcontract trades and procurement of subcontractors and materials.
It is vital that you have social housing experience and a driving licence as there will be travel to sites.
