Project Quantity Surveyor (Joinery)
C.£45,000 per annum, travelling expenses paid
As a result of recent expansion, an established joinery company seeks to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor to work on joinery projects on site in London.
Your role as Project Quantity Surveyor will see you working on Site in London on a joinery project four days a week, with one day a week travelling to the head office in Hastings.
Day to day duties to include:
-Valuations including submitting detailed applications and cash flow incoming and outgoing, CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliation) and variations.
-Hand over meetings to ensure scope of works are identified and required.
-Programming with resources monitored on a weekly and daily basis.
-Variations agreed and hourly rates with review of tender drawings and specifications. Pricing within contract timescales. Agreeing weekly variations.
-Procurement of sub-contract works.
-Ensure that all NCR`s are listed and Priced.
Projects will be carpentry based refurbishment fit-out projects in London.
The successful candidate will have experience in a Quantity Surveyor or QS role within a specialist joinery manufacturing and installation construction organisation or similar with an understanding of Estimating.
Consideration will be given to those from other areas of the fit- out/refurbishment and joinery construction market.
You must have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator or Commercial Manager.
A Quantity Surveying or relevant construction qualification is helpful but time served applicants considered.
