Coburg Banks currently have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Quality/Health and Safety Manager to join a manufacturer based in the West Midlands. This is magnificent opportunity to join a growing business with a real emphasis on continuous improvement
This company are a very successful business who specialise in supplying components to a variety of industries including, Rail, Petro-chemical and Construction. Due to growth they now seek to recruit a Quality/Health and Safety Manager to drive a number of key quality objectives and maintain current quality systems. You will play a major part in driving the business forward with continuous improvement programmes.
Working for a leading manufacturer of steel based products to various industries, the purpose of the Quality/Health and Safety role is to manage all aspects of the quality, health & safety and environment of the site, whilst providing continuous improvement to processes and procedures.
Responsible for the strategic development and management of Quality, Safety and Environmental Systems requirements within the organization
Developing business processes, documenting procedures and implementing quality controls to ISO 9001 Accreditation
Responsible for the submission of PPAP’s
Giving specification, technical and legal support for product system requirements
Managing health and safety within the business
Conducting internal Quality, Safety & Environmental audits
Ensuring Legal Safety & Environmental compliance requirements are embedded in the business through an effective system
Experience within a previous role in a manufacturing environment is essential
Must also possess excellent communication skills, be able to liaise with various departments of the business and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
Experience with Microsoft office packages is essential, as well as a good level of PC literacy.
