Quality Assurance Manager
Based in Snetterton, near Norwich

A wholly owned subsidiary of a leading supermarket chain is currently looking to recruit a QA Manager at their purpose built bottling site in Snetterton, Norfolk. This is a key role within the business. You would be responsible for the day to day food safety, legal and quality compliance at a state of the art site, handling 27 million litres of wine a year sourced from around the world. You would be expected to develop, maintain and continually improve the site’s BRC and Quality Management systems, as well as develop and improve the quality approach throughout the company.
The ideal candidate for the role will be an accomplished QA Manager with significant experience of the BRC Global Standard Food Safety Standard and its implementation. You will need to be able demonstrate experience with lean principles and best practice deployment, HACCP knowledge, as well as experience of building working relationships with customers and suppliers. Good auditing skills/experience will also be required as will a working knowledge of relevant legislation.
You will be a confident, self-motivated and well organised individual with excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication and influencing skills will also be required as will good IT skills.
