Quality Engineer – Automotive
£40k per annum plus benefits
An international manufacturer of automotive products are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer for their team.
Supplying the major OEM’s this Quality Engineer role will be as much focussed on the customer as it is on the supplier – they don’t just pay lip service to proactive problem solving and continuous improvement is the philosophy by which they operate.
As such your remit is to introduce and make sure that good quality practices and processes are followed at all times. This will encompass the generation of control and testing methodology as well as the defining the frequency of the testing process.
You will also implement appropriate quality measures following process audits and have responsibility for developing relevant documentation including control plans, FMEA’s, work instructions etc.
The successful candidate will have experience working as a Quality Engineer from either a automotive manufacturing company or aerospace environment.
You will have experience with quality systems such as FMEA, PPAP and APQP alongside control plans.
Alongside a professional education in something like engineering you will also demonstrate knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings, statistical analysis and presentation methods.
