Quality Engineer – Automotive
c.£28k per annum plus benefits

A manufacturer of plastic injection moulded automotive products are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer for their team.

The Quality Engineer will report to the Quality, Safety Environment (QSE) Manager and work in the quality team with a remit to introduce and make sure that good quality practices and processes are followed at all times.

Along with this they will act as the client representative and will ensure quality tools for mass production are adhered to. They will implement appropriate quality measures following process audits.

The successful candidate will have experience working as a Quality Engineer from either a plastic injection moulding background or automotive manufacturing company.

You will have experience with Quality systems such as FMECA, Predictive Reliability or SPC and will have experience of problem solving 8D and QRQC procedures. Along with this you will also have knowledge of quality management systems ISO TS 16949.

It is desirable to have an engineering qualification to HNC or degree but this is not essential.
