Due to extreme growth, my client currently seeks an experienced Quality, Health and Safety Manager to join their prestigious automotive business.
This phenoniminal opportunity will challenge you to drive the quality process forward as well as undertaking all aspects of Health & Safety. The Quality, Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for 4 Quality Engineers and work closely with existing clients
The Quality, Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all the customer complaints are dealt with using methods such as APQP, 8D’s, PPAP’s and Six Sigma. The Quality Health and Safety Manager will play a major role in assisting the management team in coordinating performance of the entire site.
This position is key to helping drive the already well established business forward and you will be responsible for the following;
- Implementation of quality procedures and key performance indicators
- Work closely with existing customers to monitor and improve quality performance
- Use quality methods such as 8D processes and PPAP tools
- Monitor and improve all aspects of Health & Safety including energy, environmental and onsite safety procedures
The successful Quality Health and Safety Manager will be best suited to candidates who can demonstrate experience within the automotive arena and have knowledge of TS16949. As well as strong experience in this field, the client is also keen to speak to individuals who can demonstrate a real passion for quality, health and safety plus have knowledge of ISO14001 in other current suitable disciplines such as FMCG or general industrial.
In order to excel in this position, suitable candidates must hold a relevant qualification in quality procedures or management. You must have a qualification such as Level 6 – Mechanical Engineering or similar
