Quantity Surveyor – Ceilings & Partitions
C.£55K + Car/Allowance,Bonus,pension,healthcare
This leading contractor in the suspended ceiling, dry lining and partition industry is looking for a Quantity Surveyor due to company expansion.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager the Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for financial management of multiple projects across London. These will include high end residential and commercial properties within the dry lining, ceiling and partition sector. Project values are between £2 million and £7 million.
You will be responsible for:
-All QS functions in addition to the management of the installation of each project
-Scheduling and procurement of materials
-Monitoring site progress and paying subcontractors and suppliers
-Applications for payment, pricing variations and negotiating and agreeing final accounts
You will be based mainly at head office in Maidenhead and occasionally on site in London 2-3 days a week.
The role would be ideal for a Quantity Surveyor with a Quantity Surveying Degree or HNC in Building Studies who has experience as a QS or Quantity Surveyor within the suspended ceilings and partitions industry. Candidates from other similar construction backgrounds will be considered.
You must be a methodical and excellent communicator with good numeration skills and be professional at all times.

They also provide, bespoke metalwork, Kingspan and Metsec framing and extruded aluminium sections. They are one of the UK`s leading contractors in this area.
