Quantity Surveyor (Concrete Repairs)

As a result of recent expansion, an civil engineering concrete repairs contractor seeks to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work on a highways project in Birmingham.
The Role
Your role as a Quantity Surveyor will see you working in Birmingham
Day to day duties to include:
-Reporting to the project manager
-Management of projects within time, costs, quality constraints and standards.
-Measurement and controls of quantities and costs onsite
-Production of accurate record, drawing and project documents
-Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have experience in a Quantity Surveyor or QS role within
The ideal person will be a quantity surveyor with experience of dealing civil or highway type projects
-Experience in civil or Highway, quantity surveying
-Fully conversant with excel, word and MS Projects
-Full understand of the NEC contract
-Degree, HNC or HND
-Valid CSCS card
-Flexible, hardworking attitude.
Experience of cathodic installation, concrete repairs, civil, structural, contractors, repair, drainage, roof waterproofing, site surveys, and cost cost control is essential.
You must have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator or Commercial Manager.
A Quantity Surveying or relevant construction qualification is helpful but time served applicants considered.
