This leading wastewater management contractor based in the Oxford area are looking for a Quantity Surveyor due to expansion of their successful team.

The Role:
Reporting to the Director the workload for the Quantity Surveyor will be on a project by project basis within the waste water civil engineering sector.

You will be responsible for:
-Providing commercial and contractual support for waste water, drainage and sewer rehabilitation projects from quotations through to final accounts.
-Work closely with operations teams providing commercial advice and support on site and during client meetings.
-Value and cost works outside the specifications of normal contract rates.
-Maintain accurate records of values,costs,profitability and productivity.

The Candidate:
The role would be ideal for an experienced Quantity Surveyor preferably from within the waste water civil engineering industry, but candidates from other civil engineering construction backgrounds will be considered.
You must be an excellent communicator with commercial negotiation skills.
You must have good interpersonal skills and knowledge of NEC 3 conditions of contract.
You will also hold a full driving license as visits to site will be required.

The Company
They were formed in 1977 and are part of a larger group. They own and operate specialised plant and equipment to deliver wastewater asset maintenance services. These include surveying and cleaning through to repairing. They manage and maintain foul, surface water and process assets for all the major water utilities companies and principal construction contractors.
