One of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies is currently looking to recruit an experienced Receptionist at their Leeds office. You will act as the office’s first point of contact and would be responsible for providing a professional and efficient front of house service, ensuring the appropriate impression is given to all callers and visitors to the office.
You would be responsible for the switchboard, meeting and greeting clients on their arrival, and ensuring that the reception area and meeting rooms are consistently maintained to a high standard. Other key responsibilities will include opening and distributing the post, organising travel arrangements, booking couriers/taxis, and managing the meeting room schedule, as well as other ad hoc tasks as and when required.
The role will suit a confident and well-presented individual with experience working as a Receptionist in fast-paced corporate environments, used to handling a high volume of calls on top of a variety of different tasks. It is preferred that you will be familiar with operating a switchboard equipment, but not specific to any particular system. You will be well-educated, with excellent communication skills, and computer literate, with good knowledge of MS Office products, plus good typing skills. You will be an enthusiastic and well organised individual with a flexible and positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
