We’re looking for a talented Recruitment Advisor to join our client, a leading food manufacturing business, and play a key role in the delivery of a speedy, customer focused and effective recruitment service.

This is an interesting and busy role with direct access to key stakeholders, the ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and brilliant at engaging with and assessing candidates. Previous recruitment experience, agency or in-house, is essential, ideally helping source candidates for production / blue collar roles.

Offering a salary of circa £28,000 plus great benefits. Hybrid working arrangement can be offered however you would be predominantly office based, with community events/recruitment fairs/job centre in the local Bury St Edmunds area.

Responsibilities
You would report into and work closely alongside the Talent Acquisition Manager, helping implement the direct hiring strategy and ensuring procedures are followed in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities will include…
– Supporting the administration of the hiring and selection process, including updating job specs, writing adverts, CV screening, engaging with candidates, arranging interviews etc
– Ensuring that all allocated roles are worked on, keeping the TA Manager up to date on the progress of your applicants
– Building relationships with local schools, attending breakfast clubs, careers events etc, building the company’s reputation locally as an employer of choice
– Providing recruitment market analysis in support of the recruitment process and strategy

Requirements
– A strong track record within recruitment, either within an agency or in-house recruitment function would be desired
– Demonstrated knowledge of managing high volume recruitment campaigns, ideally production / blue collar roles
– Knowledge of defining shortlisting criteria
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to positively interact with potential candidates
– Strong administration and organisation skills- you’ll have a busy workload!
