Regional HR Advisor (Part Time – Job Share)
Based in Reading

As one of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies we are currently recruiting for a Regional HR Advisor at our Reading office. Reporting to the Regional HR Manager, your role would entail delivering an efficient and professional HR service across the Southern region, in particular the Reading and Guildford offices. In this role you will be job sharing and we are looking for an individual to support the business 2.5days a week.

You will act as the first point of contact for Partners, Directors and Managers who are seeking advice, guidance and support on a wide range of employee issues. Other key responsibilities will include assisting with experienced hire and graduate recruitment, attending disciplinary, grievance and capability meetings as the HR representative, overseeing the paternity/maternity process, managing redundancy and TUPE projects, plus supervising less experienced members of the team, delegating work and providing coaching and guidance as required.

You will be based out of the Reading office, but you will be expected to travel to the Guildford office regularly as well as to other offices in the region on a semi-regular basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an intelligent and experienced HR professional to put their skills and expertise to use within one of the UK’s leading firms. You will have experience working in a generalist HR role in a busy HR environment, and will either be CIPD qualified or currently studying towards the full qualification. Experience in a multi-site environment would be an advantage, as would experience training and coaching line managers, while good knowledge of current employment laws and procedures will be required.

You will be an intelligent individual, well organised and hard-working, with a flexible and proactive approach plus excellent problem solving skills. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven ability to build relationships at many levels.

With almost 3500 partners and staff across 35 offices generating a fee income of over £300 million, and having undergone an exciting rebrand in 2016, you would be joining one of the 3 principal mid-market accountancy firms at a particularly interesting time.
