We’re looking for a talented Regional Manager to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of managing a number of care services supporting people with learning disabilities.

Please note: In this position you’ll be required to work some weekends and occasionally cover on-call in unsociable hours. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview.
The Role:
As the Regional Manager you’ll report to the General Manager and will be primarily responsible for delivery of Care And Support to around 50 people with learning disabilities.
In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:
– Ensuring the people they support have a life of opportunity and are fully involved in the direction of their lives
– Reporting to the director of Care And Support on the functioning of the community and the developments in the local area and propose solutions to develop the community further
– Ensuring that operational budgets are being managed and reported effectively
– Supporting local managers to bring new ideas and proposals forward and to utilise marketing to promote the community
– Promoting the charity’s vision, mission and values ensuring they are all achieved in activities and services
– Ensuring all objectives and plans are consulted upon and agreed
– Building effective working relationships with CQC, local authorities and other inspection bodies
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this |Regional Managers role will have relevant experience of managing a number of care services supporting people with learning disabilities.
You’ll also need experience of managing budgets and monitoring expenditure as well as business planning and monitoring and improving performance.
In addition, it’s essential that you possess a NVQ level 4 or 5 in management and a good general education.
The ideal person for the role will be the following:
– Innovative, creative and practical
– Able to multi-task effectively
– Organised and able to plan effectively

The Package:
Basic salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum depending on experience
Additional benefits include:
– 33 days holiday

They have 9 communities based around the UK, supporting around 500 adults with learning disabilities. This particular role would be for 1 of those communities and supporting 50 people.
