One of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies is currently looking to recruit a highly accomplished and commercially astute Marketing & Business Development Manager. Reporting to the Regional Marketing & Business Development Senior Manager, you would be responsible for developing and delivering strategic marketing and business development plans across the South West

This is a fantastic opportunity for an influential Marketing professional to make an impact within a dynamic market leading business. You would be tasked with developing, implementing and monitoring business development activity across the region, coordinating all marketing and business development activity in liaison with Regional Marketing team and Partners. In this supporting role to the Partner Group, you would be expected to ensure all business objectives and targets are delivered and new clients of the right quality acquired. You will be expected to undertake research and keep abreast of developments in the marketplace, and drive a business development culture through the delivery of all client and targeting programmes.

The ideal candidate will have senior marketing business development experience within a professional services environment. Significant experience developing and executing marketing and business development plans is required, while CIM qualification would also be preferred. You must be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of the full marketing mix, from campaign planning to implementation and follow up, including direct mail, advertising, exhibitions etc. A demonstrable track-record in targeting new business and proposal project management is required.

You will be a confident and driven individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with exceptional organisational and project management skills. You will combine a flexible approach with the ability to prioritise accordingly, and must be able to work effectively under pressure in order to meet deadlines.

With almost 3500 partners and staff across 34 offices generating a fee income of over £300 million, you would be joining one of the 3 principal mid-market accountancy firms at a particularly exciting time.
