Registered Care Manager role within an Extracare Scheme in Northampton. This is a temporary 6 month contract with an immediate start – you’ll need to be already registered with the DBS update service. We’re looking for somebody with a strong management background in domiciliary care or Extra care.
You’ll be overseeing the day to day running of an Extra Care development, and working with the head of care to improve care delivery, staffing and paperwork compliance.
- The day to day running of the entire site
- Overseeing the domiciliary care provision and managing the head of care
- Reviewing Care plans, risk assessments
- Recruitment and retention of care staff
- Ensuring that the rota is covered
- Liaising with healthcare professionals
- Dealing with any issues
You MUST be registered with the DBS update service and be able to start work within a couple of weeks. This is an immediate start 6 month contract role
You’ll need to be qualified to NVQ / QCF level 4 in care as a minimum
You’ll need management experience in a role equivalent to a Registered Manager within a domiciliary care company or Extra Care scheme.
You’ll demonstrate an excellent knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
You’ll have worked previously with older people.
