We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate health care professional for a Registered Home Manager role at a new four bedded children’s home for young people with Learning Disabilities in Basingstoke.

As the role will be at a new service the successful candidate will be responsible for setting up the home and moving it forward in the right direction. We are able to consider Deputies with experience of managing children’s residential homes as well as experienced Registered Managers.

The Position:

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

–Setting up the new home in terms of all recruitment, paperwork and referrals to get the service up and running.

–To then be responsible for the management and day to day running of the home, including staffing, the weekly budget and the resources.

–Ensuring that the care provided is of the highest standard in relation to the children’s physical, behavioural and emotional needs.

– Consistently work within OFSTED guidelines in order to promote a safe environment for all young people

The Person:

– Will ideally be a CQC Registered Manager

– Will hold NVQ L4/equivalent or be working towards this.

–Will have had a minimum of two years of experience of working with children in a challenging environment, in a senior post such as a deputy manager or a managerial role.

A Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle is essential for this position
