I have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced, nurse qualified Registered Manager to join a new nursing home for adults with Mental Health in the Herefordshire area. The position is a permanent, full time role paying up to £38,000 per annum depending on experience. A nursing qualification, ideally RMN, and an active PIN is essential.
The position will be working for a new, state of the art nursing home for adults with Mental Health in the Herefordshire area; this is a perfect position for a qualified Nurse Manager to take on a new home with a massive amount of potential to be a top quality nursing service. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you have experience of working with adults with Mental Health. You will be responsible for building a dedicated team of care and nursing staff and will be joining a reputable, forward thinking company who are renowned for their innovative approach to care provision for adults with mental health. Other duties will include but are not limited to;
• Developing policies and procedures
• Business Development and marketing of the service
• Recruiting and working closely with the care and nursing team, residents and their families to ensure high quality delivery of customer care services
• Managing staff and ensuring they are inducted and trained accordingly
• Budget monitoring
• Adhering to CQC and Clinical regulatory standards of care and ensuring compliance at all times
• Report writing and presenting
The ideal candidate must have previous Registered Home Management experience, as this role is working in a nursing home, a nursing PIN is essential. You will ideally be RNLD/RMN qualified or a general nursing qualification but relevant work experience alongside adults with Mental Health.
