The Role:
As a Registered Manager, you will:
- Have autonomy over your own home
- Manage and develop your own team
- Handle placement requests
- Ensure the day-to-day needs of children and young people are met
- Support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of children
- Maintain good relationships with team members, management, and external professionals
- Develop and monitor quality standards in line with regulations
- Be the main point of contact and decision-maker for the home
- Attend and chair regular meetings with staff and external professionals
The Candidate:
To be considered for the Registered Manager role, you should:
- Have previous Ofsted children's home registration
- Achieved at least one Good Ofsted inspection outcome
- Hold or be working towards a Level 5 diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Care
- Have management experience in a children’s residential home
- Possess a valid driving licence
