A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to join a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation in Nottingham. The position
This is a key role within the organisation and you will be managing a large staff team both field and office based. The role is managing a large and successful domiciliary service which provides care and support to vulnerable members of society. There are many duties involved in the role of Registered Manager including:
- Manage the daily operation of the service in line with CQC’s Fundamental Standards
- To meet and exceed all financial/growth targets
- To ensure the provision of high quality care services to vulnerable people living in their own home
- Develop and manage relationships with professionals, colleagues and clients to ensure the best possible outcome for Carers and the people they care for
- To manage and deploy a team of Care Support Workers providing person centred care and support to vulnerable adults
- To ensure consistent application of companies policies and procedures.
- Producing and maintaining accurate online records in line with data protection and confidentiality policies
- Ensuring that confidentiality is protected at all times
- Effective use of MS Office, IT systems and software
The person
- Management experience in a health and social care or voluntary setting
- Previous operational experience of leading teams both office based and in the field
- Experience of liaising with commissioners and other professionals
- Competent use of IT including all Microsoft packages
- Excellent communication and presentations skills
- Passionate about representing carers and understanding of issues and challenges they face both within their role and society
- Full driving licence and own car
- NVQ Level 5 or equivalent
