The role is for an experienced Registered Manager to manage a well-established, medium sized residential care home for older people in Guildford. Your role will be to form relationships with the residents and their families to ensure that the home offers the highest standards of care and meets the needs their needs and that the residents are comfortable and happy. You will also be required to liaise with CQC to ensure compliance and satisfactory inspection procedures.
The home is situated in a prestigious area of Guildford and is one of three residential care homes owned by the same family. The views of the residents are upmost importance to owners of the business. Therefore, it is essential that the successful Registered Manager is genuine and someone who the residents can talk openly with. The residents are older people, some of which have dementia and sensory impairment.
The successful candidate for the Registered Manager role will:
- Have at least 2 years experience of managing a similar service.
- Have experience of working in line with CQC requirements.
- Have a full UK driving licence.
- A Nursing qualification and live pin is desirable but not essential.
This role would is suitable candidates who are experienced Care Home Managers, Residential Care Managers and Registered Managers.
