My client is seeking a qualified experienced Children’s Home Manager to join one of their EBD homes based in the Sutton Coldfield area.
The role of the Manager is to be responsible for managing all aspects of running the Home, for medium to long term planned placements to ensure young people are supported and live within a stable, caring home. You will need to ensure that high levels of emotional and physical care, appropriate activities and comfortable accommodation are provided (to name a few).
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role. You will have a minimum of NVQ 4 in Care and Management within this sector.
You will need to demonstrate significant experience within a managerial capacity. Experience of working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The ideal candidate will be a positive role model with the desire to maintain and promote excellence in standards of care. They will also have awareness of the needs and rights of children and young people in care and acting as an advocate for children and young people.
