My client are seeking an experienced Registered Care Manager to manage their established, high quality Domiciliary Care branch in Birmingham on a part time basis. You will be taking on a very well run branch that has the potential to expand even further, working closely alongside the company Director, you will be given the autonomy to manage the day to day operations within the branch. The company have been established for a number of years and pride themselves on their reputation with both their private and local authority service users.
The position will be a fast paced managerial post where you will be given responsibility for the day to day management of the branch, including ensuring exceptional service levels are maintained, policies and procedures are kept up to date and ensuring that the branch is compliant with CQC at all times. You will work part time, alongside the Director who is looking for a confident Manager who they can rely on to maintain the companies’ standards. Other duties will include but are not limited to;
- Developing policies and procedures
- Recruiting staff and ensuring they are inducted and trained accordingly
- Adhering to CQC regulatory standards of care and ensuring compliance at all times
- Report writing and presenting, working to KPIs and maintaining the highest care standards at all times
- Dealing with safeguarding issues
- Recruitment, staff management and development
The ideal candidate must have previous Domiciliary Care experience and will have an understanding of a range of care packages. You will have proven history of working in a busy branch delivering a high number of care hours per week. You will be a confident manager with a good understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will be the Registered Manager for the service so an NVQ Level 5 or RMA are essential. Due to the nature of the role, travel will be required to service user’s homes and off site meetings, therefore a full UK driving licence and a car is essential.
