Children’s Residential Home
Salary: up to £30,000 plus excellent benefits package
The role is based in a residential service for children and young people aged up to 19. The position comes with a competitive salary and benefits including bonus, pension, enhanced annual leave and ongoing training and development.
There are many duties involved in the role of Home Manager including:
- Lead and manage the staff team
- Create a homely atmosphere which in a service for young people with learning disabilities, autism and EBD
- Financial control of the service including profit and loss
- Staff recruitment, training and development
Ideally you will be currently managing a similar service and you must have extensive experience of working in children’s residential settings. You will have knowledge of learning disabilities and complex needs an experience of EBD and attachment disorders.
You must hold NVQ 4 Health & Social Care, Children & Young People and Registered Care Managers Award, Level 4 management qualification or Level 5 Leadership and Management in Social Care.
